Can you believe that it is the beginning of a new school year? Even though my children are not in school, I see the first day of school pictures posted on facebook, hear the moms at church talking about new schedules, activities that are starting up again, and how they are anticipating the craziness of a new routine.   It’s a hectic but exciting time made up of new schedules being introduced, fresh white paper being put in newly purchased notebooks, and nervous children being dropped off at schools and bus stops.

Even though I homeschooled my children they were involved in many arenas of schooling.  They took classes at a co-op and a local college and played sports with a Christian school and a community league.   There were different levels of pressure in each situation, so they were tested in many ways.  It became clear, early on, that I would need to be on my knees praying for the heart’s of my children!

With that in mind, I wanted to share with you some ways that you can be praying over your children as they return to school!
