The Weary World Rejoices

I chose this line from O Holy Night for a couple reasons:

1. O Holy Night is my very favorite Christmas song. I’ve loved it since my childhood. This Point of Grace version is my favorite (I miss those girls something terrible. Anyone else?).

2. The weary world really does seem to rejoice at Christmas, doesn’t it? As a weary mom, my heart seems to lift all by itself as I gaze at the lights, lead my boys through Advent, and reflect on the greatest miracle this world has ever known. Christmas is built-in hope, and I want to cherish every second I can.

During this Christmas season, and as Stacey Thacker and I prepare to share the story of Hope for the Weary Mom with the world early next year, we want to remind your weary heart to rejoice, and hope this lock screen will help that happen.

To grab your lockscreens, simply enter your email address in the box below and follow any directions you might receive in a follow-up email. We’ll send you a link to the downloads immediately.

Merry Christmas,
Brooke

She can be found most often on her knees in prayer, not because she’s so holy, but because God is. Not because she knows how to raise godly men, but because God knows the plans He has for them.
