Today, The MOB Society Team is sharing some of their very favorite books, bibles, blog posts and various other resources that they’ve relied on for helping them grow godly sons. We hope this list will serve as a good resource and encouragement for you and your sons, as well.

Brooke McGlothlin:

801 Questions Kids Ask About God, a resource from the Heritage Builders, a ministry of Focus on the Family, this book covers all of those amazing and sometimes difficult questions kids ask about God, faith, Heaven and the Bible.

7 Free Resources for Growing Godly Kids, a post Megan put together listing some of her family’s favorite totally FREE biblical teaching resources for their sons.

Grapevine Studies, bible studies for kids and families with a unique twist on learning God’s Truths by reading Scripture together, discussing it and then drawing the pictures with stick figures and memorizing His Word.


Melanie Young:

Raising Real Men: Surviving, Teaching and Appreciating Boys, a book written by Melanie and her husband, Hal… this is a practical guide to equipping the hearts and minds of boys without losing or breaking your own.


Heather MacFadyen:

Tea Time for Boys, a post written by Heather where she shares how she uses “Tea Time” to disciple her boys and share God’s Word with them.

Learn His Word, a post written by Heather on how to memorize Scripture together as a family
