I love to create and I enjoy inspiring others to do the same. You can find me and my chic and trendy creations at ourdailychocolate.com.
Brad
The lone dad contributor, I am an Indiana guy who managed to snag a beautiful, talented Indiana girl back in High School. We were married after college and since then God has blessed us with 4 amazing little boys, our quadruplets, Henry, Brooks, Clark, and Isaac.
I like college basketball, Colts football, politics, and woodworking. I would love to see my boys someday succeed in sports and career. But NOTHING compares to my hope and drive to see them grow to be soldiers for Jesus Christ. I dream of them shamelessly and boldly proclaiming the gospel to all those around them!
Come Share our adventures with us at 4tunate.net!

Charity
I am a hockey mom, a soccer mom, a minivan driving mom, a coffee chugging mom, a praying mom, an advocate mom. My husband of 16 years and I have four children: 2 boys and 2 girls. Our daughters have health issues (congenital heart defects and epilepsy) and our sons show them no mercy! Our life is constant motion of driving to school, to piano lessons, to hockey practice, to the grocery store, to the doctor's office. I blog about all this and more at Four Now, partly in order to record our family moments, partly to stay a little bit sane. Motherhood is everything and nothing I thought it would be, but I thank God for the life He has given me to lead. Lamentations 3:21-23 sums it up for me.
Christy Cross
32-year-old sassy, southern wife and mama of one precious little man. I'm also an RN and work part-time for a home health agency. Looking for God's grace and wisdom daily as we fight AHUS, a rare kidney disorder that requires my son to be on dialysis 10-12 hours daily. Praying for health, hope and continued faith. I enjoy reading, writing, shopping and spending time in the Piney Woods of East Texas with my family.
Find me on my blog, Tales of the Toot.

Dawn
Hi! I'm Dawn, and I have had my blog, 5 Kids and a Dog, for just over five years now. I'm a 12 year homeschool veteran who got the chance to start over again midway through. I'm married to the love of my life for 15 years, and we have a very blended family, with bio kids, step kids and adopted kids. Ours range from 8-18 years old, so I've had one foot in each developmental stage for many years now. We're former foster parents too, and fostered 22 children over the course of 9 years.
Over the course of homeschooling I have been hot and cold, on the fence and off, and even quit for a season. That was a very hard, learning and growing time for me in the Lord, re-establishing my dependence on Him for my daily strength as well as the finances to be able to homeschool.
Of the 5 kids, 3 are boys. We have survived male adolescence once!
It can be done! Our 18 year old is a really great kid with a rock solid moral standard and a love for Christ that amazes me. Now to continue that with the rest of the kids... particularly the boys. God is my strength!
You can fan my blog on Facebook. I look forward to getting to know all of you! :)
Erin M.
A Co-Founder and Creator of The M.O.B. Society, Erin is at Home with the Boys in Nebraska after five years as an elementary music teacher. Her Savior, her med-student husband and her two lively boys are the loves of her life – and the inspiration for her blog! She loves to cook, bake, craft & read as well, so there’s always a little of that thrown in on the blog from time to time! And through it all, you'll probably find her breaking out in random song. She tweets at @homewiththeboys.
Honey
My name is Honey. I am the wife of Jonah and the homeschooling mother of five children, four boys and one girl. I was born and raised in Victoria, B.C. and travelled the world before I settled down and got married to start a family. I enjoy writing, abstract water color painting, and graphic design.
I plan to write about "Parenting Special Needs Boys (and a girl). Here is a little bit of information about our experiences with special needs. Our oldest child has Autism and ADHD. All of our children have sensory issues and two of our children have severe allergies. It is not all about the special needs, but rather how God is right there in the midst of the mud and sometimes even I need reminding of that. I thank God that He allows me to see my kids and their hearts through His glasses because He has special lenses that filter out all the garbage that isn't really them. We deal with special needs in our home every day, but we serve a big God who gives us strength for every moment. His grace has carried us through many a difficult day.

Jeannett
Wife to one. Mama to three. My sweet boy Henry (3) and twin girls, Lucy and Jill (10 months) are my world. My husband of 8 years is my rock. My life has been picked up, spinned around, and set back down completely rearranged. Heart surgery, bed rest, TWINS!, neurologist appointments, cardiologist check ups, physical therapy, occupational therapy and bubbles in the backyard...not the least bit what I thought I would be doing...but I **love** it. Every. single. second. Even when I want to pull my hair out! Is that weird? :)
During the wee hours of the morning, I also find time to do some blogging, guest hosting, and fundraising! Busy? Just a little. But I like it better that way!
My motto:
"Life doesn't always go as planned. Help others anyway."
Jenn Rehmann
Jenn Rehmann spends her days homeschooling 5 kids. She has 1 son, age 10 and homeschools a friend's son, age 10. She has 3 daughters ages 15, 13, and 8. Jen, her husband and kids live in Orange County, Ca. When not homeschooling, she blogs, reads, paints, catches up on laundry and pretends to cook. She can also be found mediating Labradoodle-cat relations, and/or Labradoodle-hen relations. Jenn blogs at Home is Where You Start From
Jessica McGuire
Jessica is a wife of ten years, stay-at-home mother of four including two boys still in the toddler/baby phase. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a minor in Religion, and once upon a time worked with at-risk youth and foster children. Her goal as a MOB is to raise warrior boys, that seek the face and heart of God, as they learn to wield a sword and conquer the ugly in this grand adventure called, life.
She can be found at her small space of writing bliss, Jezamama or tackling the neverending piles of laundry and dishes. She carries these items with her everywhere: a camera, journal & pen and her latest library book.
Kristen
Kristen was born and raised in the great state of Oklahoma but has since traveled far and wide with her Air Force husband of 15 years. Kristen and David have 3 precious young'uns, twin sons (age 10) and a daughter (age 7). She is a forever work-in-progress whose current refining location is Hawaii (soon to be Colorado)! Although she has a degree in Music Education and loves teaching children, she has always remained a writer at heart. Following her Dad's long-ago advice to, "Write what you know," Kristen loves writing to encourage with 3 dear friends at Moms Sharpening Moms.
Kristen is a country girl, a romantic girl, and a saved girl who loves laughing her head off with her riot of a family! She relishes drinking tea and studying God's Word, preferably at the same time. Doing so on a wide front porch is her kind of heaven. She strives to become a more authentic person through developing her relationship with Christ and learning from family and friends near and dear to her.
Kristy K
I'm a 30-something wife, mommy and lover of Christ. I've been married to my high school sweetheart for 11 years and we have two rambunctious boys, Bubby and Chancho, and a precious little girl, Sissy.
My husband and I know our highest calling is to raise our children for Jesus. We strive to do so even when the world seems to be completely against us. I also consider it a pleasure to make our home a warm and welcoming place to live and play.
I have a bachelor's degree in journalism, and in my previous professional life (in the very distant past), I worked for magazines and newspapers as a writer and editor.
Now instead of writing for pay, I write for my own personal therapy on my blog Learning As They Grow (www.kristyblogs.com). I document the good, the bad and the ugly of every day life so we can look back and remember all the fun we had in the midst of the messes.
Once I get over my twitter-phobia, you can find me there too, @houseofk.
You'll see that it's not always pretty here at the K House, but there's no where else we'd rather be.
Lindsey Hartz
God has been so generous and kind to bless me with an amazing, energetic, lovable boy with ADHD.
It brings me great pleasure to tell you about that little boy~ my precious son, Ryan~ and how he has brought joy into my life, taught me more than I could ever have hoped for about unconditional love, and shown me what it really means to be the "mommy" to this beautiful family I’ve been given.
I’d love for you to come along on the journey, and seek with me the blessings of seeing God’s hand in the raising of your precious sons as well.
Lindsey also writes about her new-found faith and the ripple effects on her life, her mission, and her family on her blog, A New Life. Her hope and prayer is to reach other women with a message of God’s grace, love, and mercy.
Lisa-Jo
Lisa-Jo is South African by birth and American by marriage. She and her husband have two young sons who color their lives and complicate their frequent travel. In the last decade she hasn't lived in any country longer than three years and with family on two continents she writes about life lived in between countries, callings and kids at The Gypsy Mama. Her life is full of passports, super heroes, cowboys, and chaos. She believes motherhood should come with its own cape and welcomes you to follow her on twitter as @thegypsymama.
Melissa Smallwood
Melissa Smallwood (aka Multi-tasking Mama) has worked with seniors and families as a professional organizer for several years and is the owner of Organized Life by Design, LLC. She has an extensive human services background. She is also the mom of three teen/tween boys (ages 17, 14 and 12). Melissa enjoys helping people get their lives, calendars and homes organized so that they have time to see and enjoy their blessings! When not writing, speaking, tweeting or socializing on facebook, Melissa can be found cheering her sons from the bleachers or taking in the scenery of wild and wonderful West Virginia on the back of her husband's motorcycle.
Nish
Nish, a resident of Oregon, is a wifey, mommy and adventurer extraordinaire who never leaves home without her camera. When she’s not playing her part as a full-time mom to her little boy, you can probably find her climbing a mountain, scaling some rocks, paddling a river, or skiing the slopes. Nish majored in Religious Studies, Philosophy and Italian at the University of Colorado in Boulder and she blogs over at The Outdoor Wife, where she encourages women to pursue deeper intimacy with Christ through exploring His creation. Nish has been known to tweet on occasion (@theoutdoorwife), and she’ll challenge anyone to a game of Speed Scrabble… anytime, anywhere. Here, at the MOB Society, she hopes to encourage moms to grow and nurture the adventure that all boys love to experience. If you have a daredevil in your family, then you'll love her perspective on embracing the chaos!
Quatro Mama
On February 2, 2007, I became “Quatro Mama”, a mother to quadruplet boys: Henry, Brooks, Clark, and Isaac. Four miracles who "defied the odds" and are now thriving (potty-trained) three year old boys. I enjoy blogging about the adventures, bloopers, joys, and challenges in raising quadruplets, along with my struggles with infertility at 4tunate.net
We thank God for His immeasurable blessings and hope that our lives honor and glorify Him.
Sandra
Sandra Peoples is very excited to join the team for The M.O.B Society! As the mom of two boys (born Oct. of 2005 and Sept. 2007), she spends her days tripping over trains and getting out stains. She is married to Lee, who is a pastor. They are in the process of adopting from Ethiopia. Sandra has a Master of Divinity degree from SEBTS. She will be contributing a monthly column entitled, "Raising Sons of Thunder to Be Fishers of Men."
Sara M.
As a former kindergarten teacher turned stay-at-home mom, Sara has embraced her new role as mother to a toddler boy and enjoys exploring, looking for bugs, and making sound effects for things that go "vroom." She has learned more about God's grace and provision for her life in the past 3 years, as she and her husband, Ray, have transitioned from two full-time salaries to counting every penny and cutting coupons. You can find Sara in the Happy Brown House crafting, baking, and finding the joy in the journey of motherhood. She's often burning the midnight oil sewing for her Etsy shop, Stitches By Sara, and networking on Twitter or Facebook.
Sara Sophia
My name is Sara. I write, I mother, I make, and I sing.
I sometimes hide in the laundry room
and lift my hands up
to say passionate prayers at the ceiling.
I know they go farther.
I like to wear skinny jeans
even though I'm probably too old or something.
Said skinny jeans all have holes in the knees.
I think that's a good thing.
They get there from crawling around on the floor after babies.
I have four of those.
Although some aren't so little anymore.
My boys are ages almost9, almost7 and almost5.
(that's what they say if you ask them)
My daughter is 2.
I am glad she has brothers.
I always wanted one.
I grew up in a single parent family
with just my Mom and my Grandmother
and two sisters.
When my first son was born,
I didn't know what to do with him.
Thankfully there is grace.
And we figured it out.
Amen and Amen.
We homeschool, we live close to nature, we endeavor to LOVE.
We are praying the door will open for us to adopt in the next two years.
We believe there is no such thing as normal.
Nice to meet you<3
Sara Sophia blogs about sustainable living and faith at Tout-Est-Des-Roses
and also writes for The Homeschool Post
Stef
I'm an early 30's homeschooling mom living it out in the south with my active sometimes-traveling hubby. I like to think of myself as lighthearted and often silly - I try to bring joy and encouragement to the male hearts in our home! We have 2 superheroes (ages 7 and 2&1/2). I consider myself a "young Christian" with an insatiable thirst for God's Word. Layton Family Joy You can find me on twitter at @laytonfamilyjoy
Stephanie
Stephanie is the mother of 3 boys ages, 7 1/2, 6, and 3. A little girl was also added to her family in 2008. She got married at the age of 19! Yes 19! If you asked her what she would be doing at the age of 19, getting married was not on the list. She never thought about being a stay at home mom, let alone having 4 children. In her spare time you can find her taking pictures. She is taking her hobby further and starting a photography business. On her blog you will find a little bit of everything.
You can find her on Twitter
and on Facebook
the tiny twig
I desire a life of adventure and have harbored a lifelong fear of mediocrity. Passion is something I hope to hold on to, cultivate, learn about, and grow in...whatever that looks like. I want to love others more than myself. I want my boys to grow up to be good men full of integrity and love for the Lord. I want to bring the profound, the excellent, and the glorious into even the most mundane things we do everyday.
I have two little boys who are just shy of being two years apart. People ask me if they are twins at least five times a week. This perplexes me and surprises me every time it happens. My husband is my favorite person in the world, and we're working on having the greatest love story ever told.
If you'd like to follow along with our adventures, visit Tiny Twig Goes Out on a Limb. Or follow me on Twitter! Make sure to say hi if you do!
Tracey Solomon
I'm a mom who's been there, done that and is doing it again. I have 3 sons- 21, 18 and 8. (Surprise!) I'm a follower of Christ who has a lot of trouble keeping up. I love every moment of the messy, stinky, real life adventure of mothering boys. (Except maybe, for that time I caught a non-feline peeing in the cat box...)
I'm a free-lance writer and stay at home mom. ( who's rarely ever home, how's that work?) I've worked with MOPS International for nearly 20 years. I previously served as a pastoral counselor specializing in parenting, women's issues and children.
I'm learning to run one step at a time.. and I have a little addiction to the fiber arts.
